Nyrraa on dealing with casting couch

During the chat, we asked Nyrraa if she was ever been asked to compromise or treated badly when she was new in the industry. To this, she replied, “Earlier I used to say that I’m a lawyer and do not talk to me like that. So nobody has a voice to talk to me like that. But some leechads do try. Then I give such a bro vibe that they start looking at me like that only. So now nobody does it now because now the level of respect is different. And I’m a very tomboy in my real life.” Nyrra also recalls how she lied to everyone about being a lesbian to avoid casting couch. She says, “When I was in working down South, I had spread the news that I’m a lesbian. That’s what I had genuinely spread.”

Talking about how people around her reacted, she shares, “My mom didn’t know about it. That was a conscious decision. First of all, I faced language problem there. I wanted to focus on my shooting. I didn’t want to entertain guys over there as I was in a relationship with somebody which I was not open about. So all I had to do is just tell people, I’m a lesbian. And Guys backed off.”

On the work front, Nyrraa is currently shooting for a movie details about which are under wraps. Before this, she was a part of Bigg Boss 18. Unfortunately, she got evicted in three weeks.
